Print Info

All our prints are a archival giclée print. We print on either Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm or Epson Premiere Canvas. The Hahnemühle Photo Rag prints have a 1-2 inch print border. They are titled and hand signed on the border. The canvas prints are sprayed with a UV laquer and signed in the corner of the print. Both processes are considered an archival print with a life span of up to 150 years.

Matted prints have a single off white mat with a 3/4 inch print border reveal. The mat and foamcore backing are 100% acid free. Custom matting is available. Contact us for more information.

Limited Edition prints are in editions of 275 per size. Smaller sizes are available, but are not limited.

Most of the images on this site have been photographed with a 4x5 Toyo large-format field camera. The two types of film that Dave uses most are Fuji Velvia (ASA 50) and Provia (ASA 100). The images are then printed as an archival giclée print using the state of the art technology. Because of the large format camera and the type of printing process used, Dave can enlarge an image to mural size without losing sharpness and still maintain the vivid colors and detail found in the original transparency.

As of recent, Dave has been photograping with a Canon 5D digital SLR. The advantage of using this type of camera, is the ease of set-up, enabling Dave to explore images he might otherwise have overlooked with the 4x5.
